Thank god that the deadly venom didn't get injected in. It would have killed him within a couple of hours if not within a few minutes. Brown snakes are one of the world's most venomous snakes. It's venom is many times more lethal than that of a cobra's.

A fact that most people do not know about snake bites is that most of the times a snake wouldn't inject venom in a victim. Sometimes a snake just strikes to scare away a possible predator or adversary. Many people die not because of the venom but because of the shock. A snake bite is fatal only on two occasions - first, when it injects the poison to kill a prey (that actually is an enzyme that starts 'digesting' the prey even before being swallowed) and second when it is concerned by a predator/enemy and strikes to kill. For a venomous snake, its venom is his most precious possession without which it cannot digest its prey. It forms gradually over a period of time.

Mr. Sigmund Freud is always away when we need him the most. Would you have asked to apply benzene on your penis if a snake bit you there? I wonder how can a snake come between his legs and bite him while urinating. May be the snake was thirsty and wanted to drink some liquid. But was the man squatting while urinating? I fail to understand. Thank god we don't have dangerous snakes here.
